Naturalish...

There aren't many things that when I look back I've done and realized it was a great idea. BUT stopping getting perms, and cutting my hair off was probably the BEST things I've ever done next to graduating college .March 2014 I stopped getting perms. I  also got my hair colored and cut.  I tried to flat iron it a couple weeks. Then in May 2014 I had my own version of the "big chop." . I didn't have any fly- aways to straighten so I started washing my hair everyday. Then after a week or so after that got boring so I starting watching YouTube videos about products for natural hair. I didn't do much research because I had two friends who were already natural so I used some of their suggestions.
In Sept I got another haircut . Went in to get my ends trimmed and came out with less than half of my hair cut off. I looked like a boy. Luckily I realized that hair doesn't define me. And I kept trucking . ( It only takes me twice to learn from my mistakes)

I'm not the best naturalist. I still dye my hair. I get it straightened once a month. I only detangle it once a week. and I only co wash it once a week. I'm not a hair person. I went natural so I could stop messing with my hair  not to do more. And apparently my hair responds more to low maintenance activities.
