Go Go Mighty Green Thumb

As a kid I spent a lot of my time outside with my GG “gardening” aka playing and helping watering stuff. As I got older I really liked planting seeds and watching stuff grow. but usually we would go on vacation and when we got back everything would be dead from lack of water and stupid Louisiana heat.
So when Mr. Fats and I bought his house I couldn’t wait to plant stuff. My friend Cathy and I went to Home Depot and I spent  a butt load of money of gardening stuff and after that day we never did anything else. and or course I went on vacation and the plants died. whatever.
Then when I was preparing for my wedding a friend of mine bought me some sunflower seeds to plant so I didn’t have to pay for flowers and I didn’t even think about planting them… okay I did enough to buy 4 extra packs and they’ve been sitting in my kitchen drawer. UNTIL SUNDAY ! I was pissed off that our yard had not been mowed in 3 weeks and I decided to get it done! eventually fats came out to weed eat and complain ( men) . After picking up branches that could have been used as serious weapons I watered my flowers that planted then I decided to finally put them in there pots . THEN I got the idea of reusing those little black popsicle holders to plant my sunflowers in. Hopefully they start to bloom and I can transfer them to this nice spot in the front of my yard.
