Late nights/ Early mornings


When I was a senior in high school I remember time passing by really quickly. I went to school for two hours a day and then I went to 2 community college courses and then 2 jobs depending on the day.
I always tell people that I never slept. I don't ever remember sleeping . I had a friend that I would stay up all night talking to on AIM.( y'all remember AIM?)
 I had all the late night TV shows remembered so I could switch channels when one no longer showed programing. ( my how things change)

I remember trying to take Tylenol or Benadryl on those days where I was going to be extra productive but soon enough that did not  work. After that year sleep never really came back to me like it once did. I just thought it was the normal.

In college I used late nights to socialize with boys. I always had a friend over or I was studying for some test I waited last minute to study for. In the depressing months of my life I used late nights to burn through TV series.

Now a days a good nights sleep is needed for me to function and to tap into my memory. But some nights I still revert back to my high school years up communicating with someone. There's no longer AIM but IG or Pinterest or even text messaging my fellow insomniacs.

I know I'm rambling but that's what happens when you cant sleep!
