Making room

One of the requirements for hosting a child in foster care is to have a room of a certain size, bed, and somewhere for the child to store their belongings.  I am pretty sure if I showed our home development worker this room she would look at us and laugh. This room has been JMn's room and as you can see there was a lot of work that went into clearing it out in preparation for a kid.

Anyone need a mirror?

OPHS Homecoming

 Good ole OPHS football . Due to being in band I can only handle football in the month of October/ November. It's not cute to sweat at a football game.
 JMN 10 year  high school reunion was in Oct. ( old man) So we met the kids at the game. This was an amazing game that ended in OPHS winning with overtime. OMG i havent seen a game this good since 03. ( seriously)
A lot of the other classes got together as well. it was nice event to people watch. ( insert creepy smile)
The only thing that was missing was our Jasmine. ( insert sad face)

Baby Tam Tam Shower

 I loooooove throwing showers for people.

My good friend Chels & her husband Dustin are expecting their second child, a baby girl in December. So a couple girls from work got together and threw her a shindig. One picture I missed was the food. ( I know that's something you wanted to see) We had meatballs, Hawaiian sandwiches, corn dip, Hawaiian dip, cookies, cupcakes, a fruit tray, and a veggie tray. ( hope I didn't leave anything out) It was delicious. And as you can see by all the cars there was a pretty good turn out.
Games,food, and presents! What else could you want ?!

Almost 10 years ago today

 Today is my 28th birthday. So I thought I would take it back to my 18th birthday.

Most of you guys are aware that my family did not celebrate holidays. So I did not have a birthday celebration ( dinner with friends because it was my birthday) until i was 21.

A look back

I looked back at a couple pictures the other day and I realized I have lived a GREAT life. I think I get discouraged because the past 10 years have been so amazing and I am just waiting for the next 10 to be equally or more amazing it's just hard to keep satisfied .

I guess this is what  adulthood is really like.

Real World: Portofino+ October 2015

Real World credits. The story line starts with two girls meeting up. There's the awkward introduction maybe a hug or a hand shake. Then they start traveling to the " house." They pull up to this large building and are trying to figure out how to get their keys. .  They find building 5, they go to the  6th floor and find room 601. They open the  door and the screams and OMGs begin.  The girls run around from room to room looking for somewhere to state their claim. Then there's a commercial break.

There was absolutely no reason to leave this resort unless you needed to buy groceries.
There's Free  Golf every morning for the guys ( with the premium package), an Olympic size indoor pool, every tower ( there's 5) has an outside pool, fitness facilities, free Portofino towels were given upon arrival, Starbucks , a restaurant , and Spa on site. You could even rent go carts and bikes.

Honestly there is not any words to describe how beautiful this resort is. I was  lucky enough to be able to  have 3 days here. 

The only complaint I could even muster to speak up about  is that this resort is a cross the street from the beach. Myself when I go places I want to be on the beach and not walk to the beach. From tower 5 the beach is about 1/2 mile.

This place is amazing and if you are in the Pensacola area look it up!
