Yall this special/concert has been quite amazing. But this 3 minute clip of Monica will blow you away. baby girl walks on stage just to congratulate JD . Why cant people leave the past in the past? Law and Order SVU writers think that the whole world needs to relive the tragedy that was Chris Brown & Rihanna 2009 . This has been so conventily played just a couple weeks from the 4 year anniversay of this unfourtunate incident . I think if Rihanna has forgiven Chris we need to do the same !This is just another example of people not being senstive to others feelings. I dont think anyone would want to relive this!

Kanye started the first of four shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo the other night and after his verse on clique he went into a serious rant.
I feel bad for this man. Anna & I share such love for this man . But im confused…. He is paid for the music that he puts out to his fans. When is the last tape Kanye put out a mixtape? So i dont want to hear complain about people getting paid for their art or complain about people getting endorsements. Kim K is the queen of endorsements!!! So….. dont get mad that nothing is coming your way because sooner or later your daughter will be fed with “endorsement money.”

Color Run

So a couple weeks ago(2/9/13) my best friend Misti and another friend of mine Melissa participated in the Color Run New Orleans . We bought our tickets in November in order to have quite some time to train for this AMAZING 5k!  I cant tell you that we actually worked hard to get fit and blow all these people out the water with our new bods. So that last sentence was def far from what actually happened. I maybe worked out 10 times from the end of November – Feb. Melissa took it most seriously by buying an elliptical  And Misti actually used her gym at her apartment  the week of the race . But I’m not going to tell you the last time she saw the inside of that facility.
Friday Melissa and I made our way to Baton Rouge to Misti’s Apt. After torturing Melissa with everything from Omarion – Taylor Swift on my iPhone playlist Melissa and I were ready to hit the couch hard. Especially since all of us needed to wake up at 4 AM to be ready and heading out the door by 5 am and getting to New Orleans.  Of course we didn’t get out the house in the time that I really wanted but we made it to City Park. We had no idea where we needed to meet and get the packets for the race ( included face sticker t shirts color and bib) . There was about 15 people that where mainly volunteers who were standing outside a building so we decided to stand also. Eventually we realized we were in the wrong spot. The “Color Run Team” had not left any information to contact anyone if we were lost. (STUPID) So after going to Metairie and back and driving around City Park, following strangers cars we finally found The Happiest 5k on Earth registration pavilion. Luckily there wasn’t many people there at 7 am so we illegally parked and got our crap.
Then the hunt really began to look for free and non dangerous parking. It took some time to maneuver around all the random people running out in front of your car and learning that some places were not real parking spots. After some stalking we found the holly land of parking. 20 mins later we were walking back to the packet pick up pavilion because of course I didn’t get pins for my bib. This time there were several HUGE lines of people. ( damn New Orleans people are always late) After playing on the jungle gym and realizing that I am no longer 10 and can not hang up side down we walked to the start line. There were all type of people there. Men, Women, kids,  young ,old, annoying s people dressed in tutus , underwear, fancy running clothes ( dummies) .
There was probably 10000 people there. there was color stations at every half mile. Runners and walkers trampled the streets of New Orleans . It was GREAT!!!

Skinny pants where Art thou

Hopefully tomorrow I have something inspiring to say about the fact that there is not a skinny bone in my body….. Or how I managed to get married being well over 200lbs. Yes girls! there are no secrets here. Motivation left my spirit a long time ago. But I am hoping that it returns soon. If you have just began reading this blog then scroll down and read a section from the Huffington Post by Brittany Gibbs??? ( hope I didn’t butcher that name) Then come back up to this post
How many people agree with what that post has to say? One of the most frightful things is moving up a size. And in a moment of desperation you can think of all the things and people who have contributed in the effort that made you have to do this. We have all had that moment in the dressing room when you pull something over your head and you keep tugging and then you realize that you have just run out of material and nothing else is coming over those boobs { or butt or arms { this does not apply if you have a rather large head} . Bigger is always better they say. But in fine print it says only in certain places. BASTARDS!
Then you have that friend who is just like { insert name}  ” you are so beautiful” “Haven’t you lost weight? ” It might just be the brand ” usually after one of those sessions I go bury my feelings in a bag on Peanut butter M&Ms and the next day ill “forget” breakfast as an effort to make up for the peanut buttery dinner I had the night before. ha! People reading this DONT JUDGE ME! M&Ms might not be your guilty pleasure but I know you secretly binge on something in mass quantities!
About a month ago I walked into my friends office which I do every morning. This is a full proof way to see if  I  look decent or a train wreck. My friend was like ” I LOVE your sweater! are you wearing skinny jeans?” in this high pitch excitement but when I informed her that I don’t own skinny jeans she gave me this deflated “oh.” I’m sorry my flat behind friend skinny jeans aren’t the most flattering things on my shape. But maybe one day. Until then I shall continue to hide my voluptuous assets in leggings and cardigans .

Adult Braces

The first person that comes to mind when I think of adult braces is Miranda Hobbs from Sex & the City . Although I am not that old and I am a real person as apposed to a character on my FAVORITE television show this is where my mind has lead me. I got braces almost 4 weeks ago. Unlike many people I was really excited because I have wanted straight teeth for a very long time. I think all my friends thought I had gone temporarily  insane because I was giddy. I was counting down the days to get my spacers and then on 1/24/13 I got my top row of braces. I had watched several videos on YouTube about how the process would go down so I knew just want to expect. Except the freezing cold mold that the assistant placed in my mouth for me to bite down on.  I felt like a polar bear offered me a piece of gum. HORRIBLE . Then the back brackets were like someone was trying to shave my teeth down on purpose.  But minus those two things I have a top plate full of shiny metal and gray rubber bands. No one had really made a big deal about the magnets I had in my mouth until I went to Mardi Gras. One of my wonderful friends couldn’t even take me seriously after I tried to warmly welcome her to the partying corner that we were standing on.  Other than that so far soo good. Beyonce` World Tour

       

So I know there are several people who are extremely excited about all the hoopla that happened last night at the Superbowl involving Beyonce . So the big bomb that dropped was the world tour that beyonce will be doing starting in April.
Anna + I will be in attendance!
Now im not the biggest Beyonce fan, unlike Anna.  I love Destiny Child and I hope that somehow she can bring them on tour with her. I know Kellys career is booming but honey dont forget where you came from! Michelle were just going to hope you fight back on all the people being exteremely hatful for no reason ( Keyshia Cole).
Now my favorite thing about Beyonce is when she gets on stage and shakes that booty! Now if she has to lip sync to do that then by all means lip sync away! Honestly when she had Blu Ivy i was excited because i was so tired of seeing this womans face. SLOW DOWN & let some of the other R&B women get some of the glitter & shine!
