Real World Playa Del Carmen + July 2018

Here it is guys!
Photos to acompany my podcast #saltysoutherners- Playa Del Carmen.

It's been a LONG time guys. I hope everyone is doing good. I am working daily on using my time more wisely. Finding time for the things that feed my mind, body & soul. And no matter what I allow to occupy my time connecting with others always hits high. My friend Anna and I started a podcast a couple months ago but quickly learned that two busy lives & content creation is super hard work.
So we have decided to work on our podcast when we can. Sometimes that may mean its just me and other times it might just be her.

As far as Trapped in the South I think the best thing for me is to tie them both together. Allow this site to be the visual to my audio. I love Trapped in the South for sharing my vacations and good times with friends. I would love to talk more about my trips to Target and what I'm currently listening to or reading. You know my favorite things in life. Eventually I will figure out how to incorporate my family.

I say all of that to say, thank you for reading, thank you for listening and welcome to the next step of my life. :)

January 2018+ ATL+ LaFonda

I really wish I had more pictures of this place. There was some serious salsa music playing on this heated patio overlooking the city. Pictured is the best Mango Frozen Margartia I have ever had in my life. If you are in Atlanta you MUST go here. Also they had some pretty killer queso which already had jalpenos in it!

Day2 + Nov 18th + Lake Darbonne

The morning started early. Of course I let the curtains stay open and the mornings sun woke me up. I didnt mind because I had to finish the girls presents. It's my birthday but of course Im giving presents.
This house made me rethink beachfront condo.
After I was done I ended up on the dock just watching the water and thanking God for 30 years.  One by one the girls came out to the dock and we laughed about stupid stuff we've done over the years. THEN I had the great idea of going Kayaking .
Check it out!

January 2018+ Houma, LA + Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse

While on a business trip my partner and stopped in for lunch at Big Mike's We ended up spending almost two hours talking to the waiter about everything from music, movies, dreams, politics, college, and our generation. The food was BOMB, the atmosphere was BOMB. I can not wait to go back!
Check out the pics.

Left my mark so now a little bit of me will be in Houma.

Presents

Its been awhile since I did a presents post. I got this today ( December 22) and I just had to share it.
Mindy got a graduation present along with a very sweet note. Check her folding skills circa 1990 something.
Min you are the Best!

April 2017+ Boston, MA + GoPro

I got a Go Pro a year ago from a friend. I said I was going to use it when I travel since its so easy to record. This thing has not been the easiest to figure out.
Here are some pictures of Creep and I at HARVARD and around Boston Fengual Park (SP) using the Go Pro.
