Book Review +Year of Yes+ Shonda Rhimes

I rented this book on tape from my local library. It has 3 disks roughly 8 hours of audio.
I loved this book from beginning to end.

When I was a kid I did a lot of reading and AOL chatting. I feel like I have a vivid imagination that flowed over into adulthood. A lot of times I find myself imagining in great detail what someone is like before I meet them. Who am I kidding I do this with strangers who walk around in Target.

Shonda Rhimes has been one of those people I've wondered about. There were just a few things I knew about her and she really sparked my interest. I mean she's is  the creator of my Thursday nights from Sept- May. There are not many people who can get my attention  for such a long time.

While listening to Year of Yes I  felt connected to her. It kind of reminded me of myself.

I appreciated the sharing of her ups and downs from  college,  love life, career, and why she wanted to be a single parent.

Then to top it off ! Shonda talked a whole lot about he character, Christina Yang, from Grey's Anatomy. I LOVE YANG .

Even if you don't want to hear about Shonda (which you should) just read this book to hear all the Grey's talk.

Buy this book !
It's something I feel like I am going to keep on my shelf and read every year. ( Yes I bought it after I rented my BOT)
