Clearance!!!

 There is nothing (currently) that brings me a high like getting something on clearance or super cheap. The cardio my debit cards get is truly unmatched.

Deeper : why are products different prices at different stores ? Like what’s the wholesale price for deodorant? Everyone uses it. Why does this cost big money ?

Same with toilet paper, tooth paste and don’t get be started on tampons. On another note. Did y’all know most of these brands are producing harmful products that we are putting in and around our bodies ?! I’m truly confused. When I first heard of honeypot I can’t quite understand the big deal but once it was explained I said WHAT! Why are these other people still on the market ?

Guys we have to live better. That includes myself !

If you run a household you should be couponing ! The basic house hold needs laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper etc you are going to always need it. Might as well get it cheap.

Trapped in the ...

I have hit an all time low. I hid in my pantry to take a call today. My pantry. Is this what life looks like for the next couple of years ? Because I definitely did not think I would have to fight to get calls made and work done without tears. 

I am thankful for that pantry. At least it’s big enough to walk in and use in cause of a “ I have kids emergency.”

In other pantry news I have all the ideas of making this place Pinterest worthy. There’s a can holder I want to build so I can buy ALL the can food and I want to buy cabinets and a piece of wood to cover the tops of the washer and dryers. Home buyers dreams lol

Well if you need to hide from your kids try your washroom or pantry I highly suggest it. 

Hello, is it over yet?

 Hey guys!

It's been awhile. I thought I would hop on for a minute and just show my internet face for a minute or two. It has been a weird 7 months. It started off kinda cool then got really crappy then I realized in the middle of this I will be talking about this moment of time for the rest of my life. There's been some loooows and a hand size amount of highs. Let's recap some, everyone needs some joy.

1. We celebrated our ONE year olds birthday.

2. Chubbs & I are so thankful to have maintained our jobs during this pandemic.

3. We survived TWO hurricanes.

4. I didn't have to pay daycare for 4 months!

5. My Babbbbbby is now in big kid school !

6. Although it's no beach I've been to Memphis twice and Dallas once since this pandemic started

7. My asthma does not prevent or worsen by wearing a mask.

8.I am in full blown couponer mode

9. I am basically living in the same 10 outfits every week. l

10. WE BOUGHT OUR FOREVER HOME!!!!

I am real proud of number 10. Guys it is literally a DREAM come true. 

I am holding myself to blog at least 1x a week. So I will see yall real soon. If you see this post in your inbox. Let me know. I want to make sure my setup still works.

Oh yeah GO VOTE!

Orange Beach, Al + Aug 2019

Yearly our family takes a trip to the beach. This year very last minute we decided even though there’s a new member that wasn’t going to stop us from going. So we loaded up and took the 6 hour trip for a couple days to our favorite happy place.

We stayed at Carbie resort. 3b 3br that I found on VRBO. I invited Misti and Mindy to come so I could have some adult company and the girls could have some fun as well. 

The resort literally had the best pool setup I’ve ever seen. It even had a restaurant on site. The only complaint I could give if I had to was that it wasn’t directly connected to the beach but it was in close proximity and they had shuttles to take you if you didn’t want to walk or drive. The shuttles would also take you to the other buildings if need be. 

In our building alone there were at least 4 pools with inside options as well. This facility was very kid-friendly offering slides, playgrounds, splash pads and pools .5-1.5 deep just for their use. They even had a lazy river that was only 1.5 deep. The girls love it. 

I definitely recommend visiting this resort with a kid or without.

Jan 2018+ ATL+ Flying Biscuit Cafe

If you are looking for a delcioud brunch place def visit The Flying Biscuit. It was a quite cafe with really good food. Our servers name was J, he was hilarious. 

Petit Jean National Park + Bob Petit Arkansas + May 2019

After we decided to tell people we were going to have a kid you knew one of the first things I was thinking about was pictures. I found this amazing skirt on Etsy and despite the price I knew I had to have it. When I called my favorite photographer, Kassie Wade, I told her I wanted my pictures to be majestic and somewhere hilly. Kassie asked if I minded driving and of course I was like letsss go! 

Kassie found Petit Jean State Park. This place was beautiful.. Now at 33 weeks I'm sure hiking down a mountain for 2 miles wasnt ideal but you can see for yourself they were def worth it. 

 

Jan 2018+ ATL+ Sublime Doughnuts

The Sublime run was a random stop to get donuts before we left Atlanta. But I can tell you I will never ever go to Atlanta without visiting this place. Do you see how amazing these donuts are?! Looks like I have an Oreo, Reeses, Dirty D, and white chocolate.

Someone should really stop me sometimes. Clearly it is not my husband. This is really just a picture of sadness. An expensive peice of equipment that ultimately sat in my living room, only to be used when TI and Young Jezzy could motivate me to use it. :)
